1. Hello
Welcome to FrontLens.
We're a global digital media platform for K-culture fans worldwide. Our editors curate content every day across entertainment, lifestyle, travel, and news.
These Terms of Use explain the rules that apply when you use FrontLens. We've kept things as clear and readable as possible, so please take a moment to read through.
These Terms apply to all FrontLens services operated by Frontlab (the "Company").
2. When These Terms Apply
By using our service, you agree to these Terms.
These Terms apply whenever you:

If you don't agree with these Terms, please stop using the service.
If you don't follow these Terms, we may suspend or terminate your access or account.
3. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time.
We can modify, add, or remove provisions at any time. For significant changes, we'll give you at least 7 days' notice via a service announcement or email.
If you continue using the service after changes are posted, that counts as your acceptance of the updated Terms.
4. What Are "Service" and "Content"?
Let's define the key terms we use.

9. Service Availability
The Service may change or go offline at times.
We may suspend or restrict access to all or part of the Service at any time without prior notice. Users have no guaranteed right to continued access, and we are not liable for any harm resulting from service interruption.
Provisions relating to disclaimers, limitation of liability, and intellectual property will survive any termination of the Service.
We'll try to give advance notice for scheduled maintenance or planned outages when possible.
10. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
We do our best, but there are things we can't guarantee.
The Service is provided "as is"
FrontLens services and content are provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including those of quality, accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, and security.
We do not warrant that the Service will operate without errors or interruptions, or that our servers are free from viruses or bugs.
Content disclaimer
Our content is curated by editors based on publicly available information. We cannot guarantee complete accuracy, and content does not constitute professional legal, financial, or medical advice.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Company is not liable for:
- Indirect, consequential, incidental, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service
- Loss of data
- Loss of revenue or anticipated profits
- Loss of business opportunity
- Damage to reputation or goodwill
- Harm caused by circumstances beyond our control (e.g. natural disasters, cyberattacks)
Nothing in these Terms affects any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws.
11. Third-Party Links and Services
Our Service may contain links to external websites.
- The content of external links is the responsibility of those sites, and we do not endorse them.
- External sites have their own terms of use. Please review them before using those services.
- If you use social login (Google, X, Apple), the terms of those platforms also apply.
- Linking to a third-party site does not mean we endorse or vouch for it.
12. Privacy
We take your privacy seriously.
Please refer to our Privacy Policy for details on how we collect, use, and store your personal information. By using the Service, you also agree to our Privacy Policy.
13. Disputes
If something goes wrong, let's talk first.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Any disputes relating to your use of the Service will be resolved through good-faith negotiation first. If we can't reach an agreement, disputes will be settled by the courts of competent jurisdiction under applicable law.
Nothing in these Terms creates any partnership, joint venture, or agency relationship between you and the Company.
14. A Few More Things
Just a couple of final points.
- If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force.
- These Terms form the entire agreement between you and the Company. No third party has the right to enforce these Terms.
- If separate additional terms apply (e.g. for events or promotions), we'll let you know in advance. In the event of a conflict, the specific terms will take precedence.
- Any matters not covered by these Terms will be governed by applicable law and Company policy.
- Disclaimer, liability limitation, and intellectual property provisions survive the termination of the Service.
